The Eliot Baha'i Community meets for prayers, consultation, social time, child and youth education, and study circles. It annually elects a governing council with nine members, called the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Eliot. (The Bahá'í Faith has no clergy.)

A number of these activities welcome the public, including Study CirclesDevotional MeetingsChildren's Classes, and Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Groups (ages 11-14), as well as introductory conversations, called Firesides.

The Eliot Bahá'í Community is distinct from Green Acre Baha'i School and Conference Center, which is a national Baha'i conference center, located in Eliot. The Eliot Baha'i Community meets in homes, and sometimes at Green Acre's facilities.

Green Acre also has some events welcoming the public, in addition to courses designed primarily for Bahá'ís.
